As the Founder of Simply Tax Solutions, Sam brings more than 35 years of experience working in the accounting field within Australia and internationally. He is a Registered Tax Agent. With Sam’s experience, combined with his clear focus on people, sets him apart from many tax accountants. Although semi-retired now, Sam has a clear focus on the needs of individuals and businesses and uses his technical and commercial acumen to benefit his clients. He spends his semi-retired days taking the challenge of learning Thai and staying active with his daily morning walks.
Gideon Adjei-Okyere
Managing Partner | Accountant
As the Managing Partner, Gideon brings over 15 years of accounting, marketing and business expertise to our clients and is the driving force of our team. He is a Registered Tax Agent, an Associate member of the IPA, and a SAPEPAA affiliated advisor. He specialises in turning complex tax regulations into clear, actionable strategies for business growth. When he's off the clock, Gideon can be found keeping pace with the F1 season, playing squash, or diving into board games. He also appreciates the finer things in life, whether that's perfecting a loaf of sourdough, reading, or enjoying a nice drink.

Senior Accountant
David (Dave) is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and Registered Tax Agent with over a decade of industry experience. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Charles Sturt University and is passionate about building strong client relationships while delivering clear, practical advice clients can trust. David has extensive experience across tax compliance, tax planning, business advisory, helping clients navigate their tax obligations while working towards their goals.Outside the office, David is a proud supporter of the mighty Fremantle Dockers (especially when they're taking on the Brisbane Lions or Gold Coast Suns). He's also a keen fan of strategy board games and enjoys keeping active through a variety of sports and activities.

Practice Manager | BAS Agent
As our Practice Manager and a certified BAS Agent, Natcha is dedicated to keeping our day-to-day operations running flawlessly. She ensures both our team and our clients enjoy a seamless, stress-free experience. Combining her background in business administration and bookkeeping, and with a love for Excel and modern technology, Natcha is always finding new ways to save time and streamline workflows. Outside the office, Natcha is a serial hobbyist who loves trying a bit of everything. Her current lineup includes drawing, learning Chinese, or hunting down the best matcha in Brisbane.
Rebecca Igwabi
Compliance Coordinator
Rebecca Igwabi oversees the payroll and compliance work. She is passionate about delivering the best for our clients. Rebecca has seven years of experience in Accounts Administration in both large national companies and family businesses. She is Xero Advisor and Xero Payroll certified - with four years experience in Payroll. Rebecca is proficient in using Xero, MYOB, Attaché and ODOO.
Melissa Opoku
Administration
Melissa Opoku is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties. She values attention to detail and prioritises organisation. Melissa has almost two years of experience in bookkeeping assistance and is Xero Advisor and Xero Payroll certified.
Kaylee Hurst
Administration
Kaylee is often the first point of contact for our clients, assisting with communications and supporting a range of corporate secretarial matters through ASIC, the ABR and the ATO Portal. With a Certificate III in Business, she enjoys helping things run smoothly behind the scenes and ensuring our bookkeepers and accountants have the support they need to focus on delivering great outcomes for our clients. Clients can expect a friendly, responsive and organised approach whenever they reach out. Outside of work, Kaylee is an avid reader, a dedicated tea enthusiast with a cupboard full of different blends, and a proud dog lover who can never resist stopping to say hello to a furry friend.
